Delia Plante - Administrative Assistant

Delia arrived in Windsor from South Africa in 1979, with her parents and five siblings. She has always had a deep love of family. She is married to Joe and has two children, Matthew and Lindsay, and a son-in-law, Jason.

Her love of helping people led Delia to spend 33 years with the National Bank of Canada in numerous leadership positions. Since retirement, Delia has continued to serve others through opening her home and entertaining as well as by volunteering at West Gate Elementary school to ensure children get a good meal to start the day.

Delia has been a part of St. Aidan’s since 2008, serving others on Vestry and as People’s Warden. On top of her current role as Administrative Assistant (and making sure the Rector eats lunch!) Delia helps to lead the Usher ministry where she helps new comers feel welcomed and a part of St. Aidan’s.
